Join our Modelling & Statistics team within the Research & Development department, a hub where diverse minds converge to innovate and excel. As a Modelling & Statistics Specialist, you will be pivotal in steering the business towards a data-driven decision-making environment. Your role involves designing impactful experiments that influence our portfolio, analyzing and modeling data to unleash the unlimited possibilities in the coffee and tea industry. You will champion a culture of rigorous scientific inquiry and statistical rigor, ensuring these principles resonate across the company.

- Design experiments to unravel current business challenges;
- Perform modeling and data analysis, ensuring clear interpretation and reporting;
- Communicate effectively with various R&D stakeholders, maintaining a business-friendly language;
- Champion statistical excellence, fostering best practices and knowledge sharing;
- Identify and advocate for innovative and automated solutions in R&D, streamlining processes and integrating external insights.
Qualifications
We are looking for a team player with strong statistical background, who is able to communicate on complex projects in understandable ways for the business. Our ideal candidate is not necessarily a statistician by education but someone that is eager to keep learning and has strong problem solving skills.
Rather than listing "must-haves," we prefer to look at the complete picture of what you bring to the table. For sure, we value your experience with statistics and food science, but we're more interested in your overall capabilities. To help you out, here's what we think would be great to have:
- A Master's degree in Statistics, Data Analytics, or Food Sciences with a strong statistical foundation;
- 2 to 4 years of hands-on statistics in the consumer goods sector;
- Skills in making data understandable through visualization, modeling, and analysis, including regression, multivariate techniques, designing experiments, and controlling statistical processes;
- Experience of programming in languages like R, SAS, or JMP;
- A self-starter attitude for learning and the confidence to ask for help when it's needed;
- The ability to make things clear and share findings with your team and other stakeholders in a straightforward way.
