Job Description

The Global DevOps team at JDE Professional is focused on revolutionizing the way our customers engage with our products and services. By building an integrated Salesforce ecosystem, we play a pivotal role in crafting a seamless digital customer journey within all our 15+ markets across the globe. Within the Digital department of DevOps, we're seeking an experienced Product Owner to join our dynamic team and drive the success of our Global Digital B2B platform. This platform comprises a brand-new webshop built on the latest Salesforce B2B commerce, with an integrated My Services environment, where our customers can gain insights into their consumptions, costs, and service agreements. 
Your Responsibilities 

  • Product roadmap: Establish the product vision through roadmap creation, guided by company objectives, local market requirements, and prioritization. 

  • Product development: Lead the ongoing development of the webshop and My Services, aligning with the product roadmap and making decisions based on priority and business value. 

  • Stakeholder management: Represent the business, cultivating strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure their views and requirements are captured in the product backlog. 

  • Community building: Leading the Global digital community, encouraging the sharing of best practices and learnings, fostering engagement and collaboration across our local teams. 

  • Lead the Scrum Team: Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary scrum team, including external members working remotely from different locations. 

  • Backlog management: maintain and prioritize the product backlog, accept delivered items, and create/refine user stories based on business needs.

  • Customer validation: Enable data-driven decision-making by conducting customer research in collaboration with UX, providing evidence-based support for features and functionalities. 

  • Drive adopotin: Ensure that the platform is effectively utilized by assessing user capabilities within markets and provide ongoing training to enhance skill levels. 

  • Monitoring & optimization: Drive continuous improvement in conversion rates through data analysis, testing, and iterative enhancements. 


To succeed in this role, you must have a deep understanding of e-commerce principles, a strong drive to understand the JDE Professional landscape and business processes, and strong English communication skills. You will also need the ability to manage ambiguity and have an affinity with IT. 

  • 5+ years of relevant Product Owner experience in an eCommerce environment  

  • Strong stakeholder management skills at all levels  

  • Excellent English communication skills to articulate product vision, priorities, and requirements  

  • Ability to interpret metrics and make informed decisions to optimize product performance  

  • Commitment to understanding user needs and pain points to deliver customer-centric solutions  

  • Enthusiastic about empowering and training local digital specialists  

  • Proficient in Agile Way of Working, preferably with Product Owner certification  

  • Understanding of Salesforce products is beneficial
