Job Description

To start with, the position of Solution Architect Quote-to-Cash sits comfortably in the JDE Professional DevOps team. An incredibly diverse team that helps each other learn, grow and develop. As a solution architect you will be asked to enable the future objectives for the QTC business process by driving end-to-end solution architecture, ensuring IT solutions are fir for purpose, and defining the technology roadmap. You will provide oversight and approval on the software development lifecycle, ensuring operational excellence, and advise business counterparts on how to further develop our Conga / Apttus solutions to best support JDE requirements. For this, we don’t just need you to be a knowledgeable professional but also strongly rely on your interpersonal skills as well as your drive for success. Know that you’ll have a crucial role in creating and protecting the impact we look for in our value chain. With this said, we like you to take responsibility over the following tasks: 

  • Deliver strong and repeatable capabilities for our Conga / Apttus technology solutions 

  • Provide solution recommendations, template custodianship, change management and user adoption 

  • Maintain our agility to easily upgrade, integrate and maintain our systems 

Qualifications

We are looking for a creative problem solver and seasoned business adviser who is ambitious to support the change at JDE with a drive for excellence. Someone that holds themselves accountable and doesn’t shy away from responsibility. Given the nature of the role we feel it's important for you to have a certain level of seniority with configure-, price-, quote- and contract management processes and solutions, and with business stakeholder management, as well as a solid understanding of your own added value. We thrive in diverse teams and look for people that appreciate that as much as we do. We can give you a list of “must haves,” however that’s not how we view your candidacy. We do, of course, take into consideration how much experience you have with QTC processes and our Salesforce-Conga ecosystem but ultimately, we look at the bigger picture. But to give you a bit of guidance as to what we feel is needed in this role, we’ll share our “nice to have” list with you: 

  • A bachelor or master’s degree in IT or a related field    

  • 5 years of hands-on experience in implementing QTC (CPQ and/or CLM) technology on a global scale performing developer and architect roles 

  • ability to speak and write English on a professional level 

  • Experience in working with Scrum / Agile methodologies 

  • Working experience in FMCG/CPG industry in a B2B environment
